Using the MDSC
Building
Rental Information
All events that are held in the MDSC building must
FIRST be cleared and approved by the office to assure availability,
to avoid conflicts, and to establish the costs for the use of our
facility.

Weekday breakfasts for over 50 people are not

Rates include maintenance person and paper
goods, coffee, tea, room use for 1 hour following service. You are
responsible for contracting the caterer and organizing delivery of
food. Supplying your own paper goods will not result in a
discount.
These meals include memorial breakfasts, dinners and Monday or
Thursday Bar Mitzvah.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah - Candidates for Bar/Bat Mitzvah must be
children of members of MDSC. Synagogue policy does not permit a
Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony of a non-member.
Emsellem
Sanctuary
The
Emsellem Sanctuary is available for your wedding ceremony. You must
consult with Rabbi Joshua Maroof BEFORE reserving a date for the
wedding.
Sriqui-Haim Social
Hall
The Sriqui-Haim Hall is available for lease. Member and
non-member fees apply. Kitchen facilities may only be used by a
caterer approved by the Rabbinical Council of
Washington http://capitolk.organd by the
MDSC Sisterhood.
Caterers
must provide MDSC with certificate of liability insurance. MDSC
must be named as co-insured policy holder on the insurance
certificate in order to be permitted to cater at MDSC.
A Bride's
Room, and other extra rooms are available for an additional
fee.
Room rentals shall not
exceed five (5) hours; however, ALL evening events
(parties/receptions) must conclude by
midnight.
